ter·rar·i·um [tuh-rair-ee-uhm]
1. a vivarium for land animals (distinguished from aquarium).
2. a glass container, chiefly or wholly enclosed, for growing and displaying plants.
Recently, I saw that Bows and Sparrows had a terrarium workshop. Terrariums remind me Biosphere 2, recently acquired by the University of Arizona. And since terrariums are making a come back (according to the New York Times) like so much decor of the 70s… the blogs are rife with terrarium information. So here’s allllllll the information I gathered.
Anthology’s Biosphere like terrariums…
POPPYTALK loves terrariums…
Design*Sponge loves terrariums.
